OUR SERVICES
Modern
Estate Planning
Almost all of us need an estate plan, and it might look quite different from what you expect. We build a personalized assessment and practical action plans to help you truly address the complexities of our modern lives. You may have some of the important components in place already, or you might be starting over after a life change... or even starting from scratch! Wherever you’re at, we will work together to create a comprehensive plan that goes beyond physical belongings and addresses your digital life, dependent matters for families of all kinds, and your hopes for end of life.

Death can be hard to think about, but getting organized is a big act of love for those who will handle your affairs when you’re gone. Let’s have a frank conversation and take away some of the fears.

Have a complicated situation looming? The team grows to meet your needs. I am happy to match you with trusted partners for legal advice, financial planning, real estate transactions, dependant care planning, and other expertise your situation may call for.

Empowering you to determine what your legacy looks like is a top priority. Ensuring that your memories, digital assets, and personal wishes are safeguarded for future generations, or set to self-destruct, if that’s what you prefer. There are no cookie-cutter answers when it comes to what we leave behind.
Digital Life Inventory
Do you take photos on your smartphone, have social media accounts, receive bills or documents by email, store files in the cloud, own cryptocurrency, get royalties from digital assets, or use cash-transfer apps?

You need a digital estate plan. The digital world doesn’t always play by the same rules as traditional accounts, and we can clarify your options and show you how to make it happen. Building a complete inventory of digital accounts will ensure nothing important is missed or lost when you die.
After-Death Concierge Assistance
Compassionate help is available for families and personal representatives/executors after a loved one dies. Many folks are facing this process for the first time, and tackling so many known (and unknown!) tasks is overwhelming. I help you build a to-do list, triage and prioritize those items, then assess capacity to manage each project on the list. Where you need more help, we will gather a trusted, efficient team. Having a realistic plan and regular check-ins will help you manage the burden and stress of a difficult time.
Here are just a few things we can take on:
-
planning a personalized memorial service, from finding a venue and recommending vendors to coordinating day-of needs
-
writing or editing an obituary, and recommending where to publish it
-
sorting through paperwork to locate needed documents
-
taking notes or making lists to help you mitigate the forgetting “grief brain” can cause
-
packing up belongings for storage or shipping
-
identifying and inventorying online accounts
-
arranging for ongoing pet care or rehoming
-
providing step-by-step instructions for managing or closing accounts
-
offering trusted referrals for local services like home maintenance, estate tax filing, or appraisals
-
accompanying you in-person through difficult meeting or daunting tasks
